About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Krishnagar Government College was constituted in 2008 shortly after its accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade ‘A’. Since then IQAC has been relentlessly working towards sustenance and enhancement of quality in all academic and administrative activities of the college. In the beginning of each academic year, IQAC chalks out Plan of Action primarily based on future plan of the previous year. At the end of the year, stocktaking of achievements (Action taken) is conducted. Gaps identified in this process along with new issues appearing in the analyses of stakeholders’ feedbacks, are addressed in the framing of future plan of action. Some resolutions are also taken in the IQAC meetings regarding some quality initiatives beyond plan of action as and when required. All these are documented in the Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) which the Cell regularly submits to NAAC.

Since its inception, IQAC has been reconstituted periodically following NAAC guidelines. The present composition w.e.f. 12.06.2025 is as follows:
